Maz keeps your past conversations so you can return to them anytime. Open the History tab in the Maz panel to browse, search, and reopen any earlier chat — then continue it right where you left off or simply review what Maz told you. Chat history is available to all users on any paid subscription plan, the same as Maz itself, and it covers every Maz skill you use — Ask Maz, drafting or refining a Rock (your 90-day priority), building or refining an Org Chart Seat, and Scorecard proposals. You see only your own chats, and what Maz can access inside any chat still follows your user role and team assignments.

Your past Maz chats live in the History tab of the Maz panel. Open Maz from the Ask Maz button in the top-right corner of any page in Ninety, then click the History tab at the top of the panel. The panel has two tabs: History (your saved chats) and the active conversation (labeled Chat, or the title of whichever chat you currently have open).

The History tab lists all of your previous conversations, grouped by how recent they are:

Each entry shows a title and the date and time of the conversation. Maz writes the title for you automatically by summarizing the conversation — for example, “Refine Update Vision Rock” or “Off-track KPIs Headlines” — so you can recognize a chat at a glance without naming it yourself.

To reopen a past conversation, click it in the History tab. Maz loads the full conversation, and the second tab takes on that chat's title so you know which one you are viewing. From there you can read back through everything you and Maz discussed, or continue the conversation by typing in the Reply to Maz… field at the bottom of the panel. Maz picks up with the full context of that chat, so you do not need to re-explain what you were working on.

This also applies to guided workflows you start with Maz, such as drafting a SMART Rock or building an Org Chart Seat. Those flows stay saved in your history until you finalize the details, so you can leave a draft partway through and return to finish it later. To find a specific past conversation, use the controls at the top of the History tab. Type a keyword into the Search chats… field to filter your history — search matches the conversation titles Maz generated, so search for the topic you discussed (for example, “Scorecard” or “Rocks”). Use the Sort by control to reorder the list; by default it shows your Most Recent chats first.

To begin a fresh conversation, click the new chat icon in the top-right corner of the Maz panel. Starting a new chat does not erase your previous ones — every earlier conversation stays in the History tab, so you can move between a new topic and past chats freely. This is a change from how Ask Maz worked previously, when starting a new chat cleared the current one.

Your chat history includes all of your previous Maz conversations, with a few expected exceptions. Understanding what is and isn't captured helps explain why a particular session may not appear:

Maz titles every saved conversation automatically. Deleting individual chats is not available yet, and chats are saved to your own account.
