What Is a Private To-Do?

A private To-Do is a task to complete that doesn't correspond to any of your teams. The team doesn't need to track its progress or discuss it in meetings. These can be things for day-to-day work or private tasks like, "Do the laundry."

Private To-Dos show up on both the My 90 page and To-Dos page. The My 90 page allows you to decide which widgets are displayed; so if you don't see Private To-Dos, check your settings. See the My 90 article for more information.

Creating a Private To-Do

Creating a private to-do works the same as creating any other item in Ninety, by clicking the CREATE button.

  1. Click CREATE.
  2.  Name the To-Do.
  3.  (Optional) Add a description.
  4.  Toggle on Private.
  5.  Determine if you want the To-Do to repeat.
  6.  (Optional) Add attachments.
  7. Click Create To-Do.

You can also add a private to-do from the To-Dos page under the Private tab and click Add To-Do.

Viewing Completed Private To-Dos

Private To-Dos cannot be archived, but you can still see all your completed To-Dos within the To-Dos page.

  1.  Click To-Dos from the left navigation.
  2.  Click the Private tab.
  3.  Toggle on Completed from the filters bar.

Going from Private to Team

If at any point you decide your private to-do needs to be tracked by a team, you can always change it to a Rock, Issue, Headline, or To-Do by clicking the more options on the Private To-Dos
