This guide provides an overview of how to export your data from Ninety to use in other applications, print information to keep in physical files, or bring to meetings.
When exporting or downloading your data, we'll create files based on the data you're currently viewing. To adjust the data you export, consider the following:
- Which team you're viewing
- Is the data you're looking for in the archive
Exporting Your Data to Use in Spreadsheets
Click through the tabs below to learn how to export your data from one of our tools into a file to use with your preferred spreadsheet application.
In most tools, simply click the download icon () on the filters bar to download your file.
Data (Scorecards)
Exporting Your Scorecards to a Spreadsheet
Exporting your team's Scorecards to a .csv file to load in spreadsheet applications is simple. Follow the steps below to try it yourself.

Exporting Scorecards to a .csv File
To export one of your team's Scorecards into a .csv file:
- Click Data from the left navigation.
- Use the Team dropdown to choose the relevant team.
- Select one of the team's Scorecards (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual).
- Select the desired date range from the Date range dropdown.
- Click the ellipsis at the far right of the filters bar (
).
- Select Export as CSV from the dropdown.
The exported spreadsheet has one tab containing the following information:
- KPI group name
- Status
- Title
- Description
- Owner
- Goal
- Average
- Total
- Reporting period date(s)
To-Dos
Exporting To-Dos to a Spreadsheet
Exporting your To-Dos from Ninety allows you to maintain offline records, share progress with stakeholders, and analyze your action items outside the platform. Follow the steps below to export your To-Dos effectively.
Exporting To-Dos to an XLSX File
To export one of your team's To-Dos lists into an XLSX spreadsheet:
- Click To-Dos from the left navigation.
- Select the appropriate Team using the dropdown or click the Private tab.
- Click the Download icon (
) on the far right of the filter bar.
Exporting Archived To-Dos
To export archived To-Dos, click the Archive toggle on before completing the above instructions.
The exported spreadsheet includes the following information:
- Owner
- Title
- Description
- Due Date
- Repeating Cadence
- Team
- Attachments
- Completed On (date)
- Link
- Create Date
- Archive Date

Exporting Headlines to a Spreadsheet
Exporting your Headlines from Ninety allows you to maintain offline records, share progress with stakeholders, and analyze your action items outside the platform. Follow the steps below to export your Headlines effectively.

Exporting Headlines to an XLSX File
To export one of your team's Headlines lists into an XLSX spreadsheet:
- Click Headlines from the left navigation.
- Select the appropriate Team using the dropdown or click the Private tab.
- Click the Download icon (
) on the far right of the filter bar.
Exporting Archived Headlines
To export archived Headlines, click the Archive toggle on before completing the above instructions.
The exported spreadsheet includes the following information:
- Type (Headline or Cascading Message)
- From (if shared/cascaded from another team)
- Owner
- Title
- Description
- Team
- Attachment names
- Completed on (date)
- link
- Created date
- Archived date
Issues
Exporting Issues to a Spreadsheet
Exporting your Issues from Ninety allows you to maintain offline records, share progress with stakeholders, and analyze your goals outside the platform. Follow the steps below to export your Issues effectively.
Exporting Issues to an XLSX File
To export one of your team's Issues into an XLSX spreadsheet:
- Click Issues from the left navigation.
- Select the appropriate Team using the dropdown.
- Click the Download icon (
) on the far right of the filter bar.
- Save your file.
Exporting Archived Issues
To export archived Issues, click the Archive toggle on before completing the above instructions.
The exported spreadsheet has one tab for short-term Issues and another for long-term Issues. Each tab includes the following information:
- Owner
- Title
- Description
- Type
- Priority
- Team
- Who
- Attachments
- Completed On (date)
- Link
- Create Date
- Archive Date
The exported sheet does not include Issues sent to your team from other teams.
Rocks
Exporting Rocks to a Spreadsheet
Exporting your Rocks from Ninety allows you to maintain offline records, share progress with stakeholders, and analyze your goals outside the platform. Follow the steps below to export your Rocks effectively.

Exporting Rocks to an XLSX File
To export one of your team's Rocks, including their Milestones, into an XLSX spreadsheet:
- Click Rocks from the left navigation.
- Select the appropriate Team using the dropdown.
- Click the ellipsis (…) on the far right of the filter bar.
- Select Download Excel from the dropdown.
- Save your file.

The exported spreadsheet contains two tabs:
- Rocks: This tab includes columns for Owner, Title, Description, Due Date, Status, Level (Team or Company/Departmental), Team, Attachment Names, Completed On (Date), Link (to the item in Ninety), Created Date, and Archived Date.
- Milestones: This tab provides details such as Owner, Title, Description, Associated Rock’s Name, Due Date, Completed On (Date), and Link (to the item in Ninety).
Exporting Archived Rocks
To export archived Rocks, click the Archive toggle on before completing the above instructions.
Exporting Your Data to PDFs to Save or Print
Click through the tabs below to learn how to export your data from one of our tools into a print-friendly PDF file.
In most tools, simply click the PDF icon () on the filters bar to download your file.
Data (Scorecards)
Printing and Exporting Scorecards to PDF
The data you put into Ninety is yours. Any licensed user can print their team's Scorecards or export them to a downloadable PDF.

How to Export Scorecards to a PDF
Follow these steps to create a PDF containing all the KPI groups on the selected Scorecard.
- Click Data from the left navigation.
- Use the Team dropdown to choose the relevant team.
- Select one of the team's Scorecards (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual).
- Select the desired date range from the Date range dropdown.
- Click the ellipsis at the far right of the filters bar (
).
- Select Print PDF (
) from the dropdown.
How to Print the PDF
Once you have downloaded the PDF, follow these steps to print it:
- Open the file using a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat, Preview (Mac), or a web browser.
- Go to file> Print or press Ctrl + P (Windows) / Cmd + P (Mac) to open the print dialog.
- Ensure the correct printer is selected.
- Choose the appropriate page size.
- Set orientation (Portrait/Landscape) based on the layout.
- Adjust margins and scaling if necessary for better readability.
- Click Print to complete the process.
To-Dos
Printing To-Dos and Exporting to PDF
Users can print the To-Dos list from any of their teams using the To-Dos tool.
To print one of your team's To-Dos lists:
- Click To-Dos from the left navigation.
- Select one of your teams from the Team dropdown.
- Click the PDF icon (
) on the filters bar.
- Choose the PDF's page orientation from the popup.
- Click Print.

To print your team's archived To-Dos:
- Click To-Dos from the left navigation.
- Select one of your teams from the Team dropdown.
- Click the Archive toggle on.
- Click the PDF icon (
) on the filters bar.
- Choose the PDF's page orientation from the popup.
- Click Print.
The generated PDF only shows the To-Dos visible on the page when you click the PDF icon. So, you may need to increase the number of items per page or the page you're viewing from the controls at the bottom right of the To-Dos list.
To print your Private To-Dos list:
- Click To-Dos from the left navigation.
- Click the Private tab.
- Click the PDF icon (
) on the filters bar.
- Choose the PDF's page orientation from the popup.
- Click Print.
To print a single Issue:
- Right-click the To-Do.
- Click Copy Link.
- Paste the link in your web browser.
- Select Print to PDF from the dropdown.
- Press Ctrl + P (Windows) / Cmd + P (Mac) to open the print dialog.
Headlines
Printing Headlines and Exporting to PDF
Users can print Headlines from any of their teams using the Headlines tool.
To print one of your team's Headlines lists:
- Click Headlines from the left navigation.
- Select one of your teams from the Team dropdown.
- Click the PDF icon (
) on the filters bar.
- Choose the PDF's page orientation from the popup.
- Click Print.

To print your team's archived Headlines:
- Click Headlines from the left navigation.
- Select one of your teams from the Team dropdown.
- Click the Archive toggle on.
- Click the PDF icon (
) on the filters bar.
- Choose the PDF's page orientation from the popup.
- Click Print.
The generated PDF only shows the Headlines visible on the page when you click the PDF icon. So, you may need to increase the number of items per page or the page you're viewing from the controls at the bottom right of the Headlines list.
Issues

Printing your Issues helps you maintain offline records, share progress with stakeholders, and analyze your goals outside the platform. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for generating and printing a PDF of your team's Issues.
How to Export Issues to a PDF
Follow these steps to download all Issues displayed on your team's page (either your short-term Issues or long-term Issues) as a PDF:
- Click Issues from the left navigation.
- Use the Team dropdown to choose the relevant team.
- Click the PDF icon (
) on the filters bar.
- Choose the PDF's page orientation from the popup.
- Click Print.
How to Print the PDF
Once you have downloaded the PDF, follow these steps to print it:

How to Export Rocks to a PDF
Follow these steps to download all Rocks displayed on your team's page as a PDF:
- Click Rocks from the left navigation.
- Use the Team dropdown to choose the relevant team.

To export a single Rock as a PDF:
- Right-click the Rock.
- Select Print to PDF from the dropdown.
